Back2You Education

Back2You Education

Back2You Education is a creative professionals collective made up of label managers, DJ's producers, film makers & photographers. The key objective is to collaborate with young adults (16-24s) to equip them with the tools they need to get into the media industry & positively contribute to society as a whole.

Through a series of multi media workshops & mentoring, the students will learn real life insights on how the industry works & be offered a selection of modules to hone their technical expertise from mixing to marketing.

We are more than a training programme, we bring currency & authenticity from real life experience & get young people closer to industry talent from performers to producers & label managers.

Back2You Education's mission is a catalyst for getting young people into the media industry.

Who We Are

  1. Purpose - to make a positive difference to the lives of young adults so they'll achieve their highest potential within the music industry
  2. Vision - to provide learning on a level & that's in-depth to enable & empower young adults to develop
  3. Values - to respect each young adult as an individual & promote equal opportunities.

For the last 3 years Back2You have been delivering a wide range of workshops to Access to Music course centres across the UK - most recently an 18 date UK tour.

Our workshops have always featured industry professionals, well known artists, DJ’s, radio presenters, producers & engineers - who inspire the students with their story of how they made it.

These workshops have been a platform for young musicians to get a foothold in the real world of the music industry & experience real life outcomes & learnings.

After the success of a 4 date Masterclass with MJ Cole & Rizla Recrafted, we are now expanding out to offer longer courses, summer schools & a wider range of workshops - all based around our ethos of delivering credible learning by industry professionals.

We are not teachers, but information providers - using our own knowledge & experience to benefit new up & coming talent. We do this in a fun & interactive way, which relates to modern youth society.

Our aim is to help not only those privileged enough to be studying in their chosen field, but also disadvantage & disaffected youth who need direction & guidance to achieve in life.

In addition we also offer one-on-one mentoring for those who display outstanding talent & who truly wish to achieve excellent.
